Our Story
On July 2, 2025, our founder was diagnosed with DCIS Stage Zero breast cancer—caught early thanks to years of careful screening and a strong medical team. After a double mastectomy and reconstruction, she felt deep gratitude for the care and support surrounding her during her breast cancer recovery. This gratitude transformed into a mission: to give back. Healing Hoodies was created to provide specialized hoodies that help breast cancer patients in Athens, Georgia, feel the same compassion and comfort during their recovery.
What We Do
Healing Hoodies offers specialized hoodies designed specifically for breast cancer recovery, allowing patients to hold surgical drains discreetly and securely. Each hoodie features four interior pockets to keep drains and tubing out of sight, providing essential support for cancer patients as they move comfortably and maintain dignity during their healing process.
